What started over a decade ago as just some diet changes to help my heath transformed into a lifelong path of learning ways to best support my body, mind, and spirit. Over the years I have come to experience how much these three facets rely on each other in order for a person to thrive.
After 9 years working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in hospital labs I started yearning to help others on a more intimate level. I had witnessed the stress and suffering of patients and colleagues and wanted to help ease this burden for others. I wasn't sure how but trusted I would know when I found it.
In 2021 I went to a massage therapist who suggested TRE could benefit me. I carried a lot of tension in my body and did not understand why. With that suggestion, I decided to give TRE a try on my own. After a few months I started noticing my body relaxing more without intentionally focusing on it. Then I started noticing that situations that normally would cause stress didn't rev me up like they used to. I was fascinated by the changes and wondered if I could deepen the experience by working with a certified facilitator.
After a few private sessions my personal practice deepened considerably. I gained more confidence in regulating the process and felt safer allowing release to happen, especially emotional release. It has improved my resiliency to life's challenges and I love that this ability resides in my own body.
I have always wanted to help people and be with them through their joy and pain. I feel at home holding space and facilitating TRE for others. I want to help you make the most of your TRE practice.
I live and work in the Asheville, NC area. When not working I love spending time with my friends and family, being outside, sewing, and hooping.
